Super Bowl Winnings

So Max has lost yet another Super Bowl bet. I didn't really cash in on last year's win since he's been in Colorado for months, but I have every intention of cashing in this year's bet. The bet was whoever won got to choose a place for dinner and a movie, on the other person. I had originally intended to drag him to a Thai restaurant (he doesn't really like Thai) and a chick flick like "Something New" but then it dawned on me that this was the perfect opportunity to finally go to....

I. can't. wait.

Hi Sareet, I've heard about this place and it sounds interesting. Have not been there though since Jojo is not really into dinner theater especially if it involves his participation. I must find a way to win a bet with him soon!

Please let me know how it goes. Since my folks are coming for a visit in April, and I'm officially in-charge of coming up with "interesting things to do" while they are here, I thought this would be perfect. FYI: my parents are pretty open to trying new things HOWEVER I'm not sure how they'll react to the whole audience participation part.

I was going to suggest seeing "Failure to Launch" but this is much better!

andy won $500 on the "supergame," as he so affectionately calls it. how did i wind up with a boy who doesn't like football? i'm making him take me somewhere nice. there's prolly something awesome like the detective thing in nyc- but i think i played my hand on that one when andy went with my goddaughter and me to Lucky Cheng's, a chinese restaurant entirely waitressed by drag queens. shy boy got his dose of nyc that night, i guess~ i have a photo of him with a balloon-hat shaped like male genitalia.... tell max it could be worse.

First off Melissa - if I'm ever in NY, PROMISE to take me to Lucky Cheng's okay???

And Joanne - I will definitely let you know about it. I've wanted to go every since I saw that Golden Girls episode - I'm sure you know which I'm one talking about!

i loved the drag queens so much. the MC is named "Miss Understood." It was such a good time. They had the obscene balloon hat maker, a resident massage therapist, tons of "girls" doing the show... awesome in general. some of the waitresses were trashy looking or outrageous- ours was this HOT asian girl... holy crap. much better at being a girl than me.
