Aww, that's so cute about your mom! But I guess it's different when it's someone else's mom. I'm the lone voice that actually likes the "milkshake" song, but that may have something to do with being a dirty whore, if you believe what's written on the men's room wall. The "1-2" step song is catchy, but I just think she's a terrible dancer. I'm no Twyla Tharp myself - I learned how to dance by watching "The New Dance Show" on Detroit public access, which probably explains why I like the milkshake song. However, I think Ciara starts to do the "running man" at one point.
Oh God--I have like a comment for every single one of your blogs--so I am going to combine them all here.
1. You took Pig in already??? I thought we agreed you were going to wait until monday!:)
2. I talked to my mom this morning, she said she has never given a dog advil (!!) but buffered aspirin, yes. She didn't feel comfortable giving out advice about giving dogs over the counter medication because she didn't have her book with her at the time to read out of. !! She has a book! About giving dogs over the counter human meds!!! Anyhow, she did say that she gives buffered aspirin, and if she had the book she would tell you just how much to use, but she was at work and the book was at her house. She told me she reccomends you buy the book, it's called 'Home Remedies for Dogs and Cats'. She says she bought it at some big pet store, but you can probably find it at a bookstore or something. She says it has saved her lots of money in vet bills. She also says agrees that it's more likely that Pig pulled a muscle or something that is having back troubles.
3. I still don't know what the milkshake is, but it still sounds bad.

I also don't watch TV, and have been listening to the radio even less (except Howard Stern, I love listening to him) and I don't know what you are talking about with some Ciara person and some 1-2 step dance she does. Is that something like the Macarena? I know what the Macarena is--we did that at our high school prom. Boo. Yuck. Either way, considering your mom is aware of modern pop culture things, that is pretty cool, because lots of moms are not. Speaking of, did you see l&o svu the other night, with the 15 or 16 year old boy that raped a tv star that his mom was trying to get off the air because she thought the young star was 'indecent'? That show is so nuts.
That sounds like an awesome book - I'm definitely going to have to get it. Every time I take Pig into the vet, it costs me $200 and I really would like to limit the visits. I didn't take her in - that was the before I called you on the phone...she is definitely better and sort of ran up the stairs today, which I took as a good sign.
