So much fun. I spent much of the weekend playing online against the rest of my family. My mom, Aunt Marilyn, and my brother all took turns on the laptops (there were 3 available) and we even played against my relatives in Hong Kong.

I actually know how to play mahjong. My grandma and aunts play all the time. So did my friends from back home. I've been trying to teach my in-laws here how to play but it's not the same without the table with the built-in mahjong pad for keeping score. Somehow it's different when playing on an 8-seater dining table. :)
Oh I hear ya. I've taught people on big 8 seater dining tables...just not quite the same.
You should check out the site - it's fun and free.
I only know how play the crappy way - I don't know points, flowers, and stuff, so I play the anything-goes-straights-mixed-with-3-of-a-kind way!
dude, teach me. I'm chinese. It's my duty to know...
